    PhD position in Quantitative Genetics


    The Evolutionary Genomics group nvites applications for a PhD position (65% TV-L E13) starting February 1, 2020. The position is part of a BMBF funded initiative „Accessing the genomic and functional diversity of maize toimprove quantitative traits (MAZE2.0)“, which now is in its second funding period. The Research topic is the improvement of statistical methods for genomic prediction and the integration of higher-order interactions into these models. The project will build up on existing machine learning expertise in our group and the candidate is expected to further advance existing methods and their application to largescale data. ore information can be found in the attached pdf.
