Biodiversity Exploratories General Assembly in Wernigerode
The week before last (23–26 February), most of our Above-Belowground Interaction Ecology team attended the 23rd Biodiversity Exploratories (BE) Assembly in Wernigerode as part of the MultiCrossBEF project.
It was a week full of presentations, discussions, recreational activities, good food, and the rekindling of past collaborations, professional connections, and friendships.
Our team left the BE Assembly with new ideas for advancing the project, mixed emotions about friends and colleagues who are now leaving BE as the 7th project phase begins, and renewed energy to bring the final stretch of MultiCrossBEF to a strong and successful close.
Ayushi and Rasmus were once again re-elected as PhD representatives for the coming year within BE. In this role, they are looking forward to welcoming the next generation of PhD students into this large and exciting project.
