Successful GfÖ conference in Würzburg
This year’s conference of the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GfÖ), which took place in Würzburg, was a great success!
Together with our colleagues from COFE, Zoo3 and EORC we hosted the 54th annual meeting of the GfÖ at our Hubland campus. We had a fantastic week with more than 400 oral and about 200 poster presentations, inspiring keynote talks and several great special and social events. We enjoyed hosting more than 600 colleagues from all over the world. The teams of all research groups managed the conference with an impressive number of volunteers and with a great team spirit, so we look forward to host the conference again in due time.
