    International Symposium on Insect Olfaction in Würzburg

    July 20th 2012, Toscana Saal, Würzburger Residenz. Title: „Olfaction in insects under debate: from receptors to behavior“

    Olfactory systems are highly important in controlling insect behavior. A panel of internationally recognized speakers will present recent advances of research at all levels of insect olfaction at this meeting - from the molecular mechanisms of chemoreception, neuronal processing of olfactory information in the brain, to the control of olfactory guided behavior.

    The symposium is organized by Monika Stengl (Univ. Kassel) & Wolfgang Rössler (Univ. Würzburg) and supported by the DFG priority program 1392 “Integrative Analysis of Olfaction”.
