10-year anniversary of the GCEF
The “Global Change Experimental Facility” (GCEF) is a long-term field experiment, which offers the opportunity to study the effects of land use and climate change on different grassland types.
On the 13th and 14th January Malte Jochum and Hendrik Mohr participated in the 10-year anniversary Meetup of the GCEF at the UFZ (Helmholtz Zentrum für Umweltforschung) in Halle. They presented their project investigating global-change effects on above-belowground multitrophic grassland communities and discussed collaboration ideas with other scientists whose projects also take place in the GCEF.
