The Chair of the Pharmaceutical Biology is part of the Julius-von-Sachs-Institute at the Dallenberg Campus of the Biocenter. We investigate how plants adapt to global change, including increasing heat, drought and biotic stress. Our focus is on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of this adaptation. We use genetic, physiological and molecular biological methods. Quantitative metabolite and metabolome analyses play a major role in our work.
