JieZhang

I am a Data Manager and GIS Specialist with over 10 years of extensive experience. I specialize in constructing and managing data infrastructure for environmental research projects, as well as guiding and mentoring teams across the entire data life cycle, promoting efficient and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data management standards. My GIS expertise lies in spatial analysis within Landscape Ecology, thematic mapping, and interactive online GIS.

I have successfully coordinated data management for many international joint research projects, including EU Horizon 2020 projects Upscale and Safeguard, StMWK funded project LandKliF, and DFG research unit KiLi. I have established and maintained strong partnerships with key data archive centers in Germany such as PANGAEA, GFBio, WueData, along with international data centers like Zenodo and the EU Pollinator Hub.

Furthermore, I possess adept skills in designing and developing impactful websites for research projects and groups including WIR, DorfBienen, ANDIV, and Peru Cacao Diversity.
