Research

In order to understand how species will be affected by climate change, I am working on a mechanistic species distribution model, that also explicitly includes the metabolic level. I am responsible for combining the model with data and to build a R package. This model is developed in the BLIZ/ Bayklif research initiative from the Bavarian Government and should help build a knowledge base for the public & government officials to include the effects of climate change in their decisions.
