Research

I use a mechanistic island community model to study species invasions, which have become a critical problem in the last decades. The model allows me to carry out experiments at a scale and level of detail that would be impossible to do in the wild. At the same time, it represents a synthesis of various theoretical approaches to invasion biology, thus advancing our overall understanding of the process of invasion.
